RCN Achieves MARCO Certification: A Milestone in Strengthening the Recovery Community

We are thrilled to announce a major achievement for Recovery Community Network (RCN)! On December 17, 2024, RCN received approval for RCO certification from the Minnesota Alliance of Recovery Community Organizations (MARCO). This certification represents a significant milestone in our journey to empower individuals in recovery and build a stronger, more resilient recovery community.

The MARCO certification is a mark of excellence that recognizes RCN as a peer-led, peer-run Recovery Community Organization (RCO) dedicated to advancing recovery initiatives and reducing stigma surrounding substance use disorders. This certification validates our commitment to providing high-quality services, fostering collaboration, and advocating for individuals and families affected by addiction.

From our outreach efforts to our peer recovery support services, we have always prioritized creating pathways for recovery and support that honor multiple recovery approaches. As part of this certification, we have received a certificate, a digital badge, and other materials to share this achievement with our community. A window cling will soon be displayed proudly at our office to signify our MARCO-certified status.
