Recovery Community Network Receives $5,000 Grant from Initiative Foundation for Capacity Building

St. Cloud, MN — The Recovery Community Network (RCN) is pleased to announce it has been awarded a $5,000 grant from the Initiative Foundation. This generous funding will support RCN’s financial and grant management capacity-building efforts, including grant writing, reporting oversight, and administrative support. These efforts are crucial in furthering RCN’s mission to empower individuals and families in recovery through education, advocacy, and peer-driven services.


The grant will enable RCN to strengthen its administrative framework, allowing the organization to manage existing grants better and pursue new funding opportunities to enhance its services for the recovery community in St. Cloud and beyond.


Katie Blue, Executive Director of RCN, expressed heartfelt gratitude for the Initiative Foundation’s support: "We are incredibly thankful to the Initiative Foundation for investing in our mission and the recovery community we serve. This funding will provide critical resources to enhance our financial and grant management processes, ensuring we can continue to grow and support individuals and families on their recovery journeys."


The Recovery Community Network is a peer-led and peer-run recovery community organization dedicated to fostering recovery, reducing stigma, and providing life-changing support to those impacted by substance use disorders and co-occurring conditions.
